Doreen had 3 sisters,1 brother and had 4 children: Andrea, Nicola, colin, Elizabeth also 7
grandchildren: Ashleigh, Chloe, Adam, Shania, James, Jay, and the late Victoria Bennett-Moore, now
she has 2 new grandaughter Bethany and Olivia who never got to meet there nana but they will be
told all about her and how much she'd of loved them like she did all her kids and grandkids.
died from : Pneumonia (after long ill health)
She was our dear mother who lived life to the full. She loved to go to the pub with our dad Raymond
Bennett. Initially she developed very bad headaches and was sent to Hull Royal Infimary for tests
and they had to put a shunt in her head. This lead to several problems including leaving her
paralysed and brain damaged. We then had 5 more years with her before she sadly passed away at the
family home. Christmas has never been the same without her as she meant the world to us and to all
who knew her. She is sadly missed daily.

Dear NIcola - please let me pass on my deepest sympathies at the loss of your lovely mum - Doreen. The loss of a mother is one of the most heartbreaking things to go through and something you never come to terms with really. And add to that - if your mum just happens to be one of the most brilliant people you know - the recovery is never complete. From your eulogy - it is plain to see that you had a fantastic mum in Doreen and nothing will ever take away the treasured moments you laughed and smiled together - nothing will take away the fun times you had. They are yours to treasure in your heart forever. When you meet with adversity in your life - you will think of your lovely, strong mum and that will give you the strength you need to get you through. God will cherish your mum for you and keep her safe. God bless.
